South West Branch Program Tentative Outline for 2021 – 2022

September 8: **Change in Event** Brandon Cemetery Tour (not the same as last time) with David McConkey, 7:00 pm, meet at main entrance to cemetery (watch for an email reminder) this will be an in person event.  Stay tuned for a Downtown Brandon tour later in September.

October 6, 2021 – Linda Dustin Selinger, Laura Crookshanks & Eleanor Burch presenting on “Home Children”. This will be an in person and Zoom event.

November 3, 2021 – War History / Veterans Theme  –  Specifics to be announced.  This will be an in person and Zoom event.

December 1, 2021 – Christmas Theme (Hopefully Crocus Garden Leisure Centre will be available).  This will be an in person and Zoom event.

January 12, 2022 – Sue-on Hillman and Kenny Choy: “Our Parents’ Immigration Story”.  This will be an in person and Zoom event.

February 2, 2022 – Kelly Southworth “Identifying Pictures”, specific title to follow.  This will be an in person and Zoom event.

March 9, 2022 –  Linda Wakefield: “Women Leaders of Brandon” (using audio tapes from the Brandon Public Library) in conjunction with International Women’s day on March 8th.

April 6, 2022 – Annual Heritage Dinner (tentative).  More news to follow.

May 4, 2022 – Christy Henry: “Brandon University Archives and picture/document preservation”.  This will be an in person and Zoom event.

June 1, 2022 – South West Branch’s version of “Abandoned Manitoba” Tour, details to follow.  This is an in person event.
